Job summary

Astoria Hotels and Resorts is seeking a dedicated kitchen helper for our Manila operations. The role involves maintaining high cleanliness standards in kitchen areas, assisting chefs, and ensuring compliance with food handling and sanitation policies.

You will wash dishes and support kitchen staff, with inventory tasks as a plus and room for growth within the company. This full-time position offers weekend and holiday shifts as needed, with staff meals provided and a path to permanent

Qualifications

• Good attitude and hardworking.
• Good oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledgeable on cleaning materials for kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that kitchen areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards and cleaning schedules are followed and completed.
• Assist Chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
• Responsible for washing dishes, china wares, kitchen equipment.
• Background in doing inventory of kitchen equipment and utensils is an advantage.
• Perform other related tasks.
