Job summary

Banh Mi Kitchen Services, Inc. is seeking a diligent Kitchen Staff member to assist in food preparation and maintain cleanliness of dishes, workstations, and storage areas in our kitchen in Davao City.

Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing cookware, assisting in cutting and prep, following health protocols, aiding in inventory, and reporting equipment issues to the manager. Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years of work experience in a similar kitchen role.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of food safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as cutting, washing, and peeling ingredients.
• Follow all food health and safety protocols.
• Assist in inventory of stocks (if needed).
• Report faulty or damaged kitchen equipment to the manager.
• Assist in packing produced items from kitchen production.
• Handle beverage production as directed by the manager.
• Communicate kitchen needs to the manager for immediate action.
• Transfer production ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen per instruction.
