JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages transactions using POS and cash registers
  • Scans goods and ensures pricing is accurate
  • Collects payment whether in cash or credit
  • Issues receipts, refunds, changes, or tickets
  • Resolves customer complaints, guides them, and provides relevant information
  • Maintains clean and tidy checkout areas
  • Tracks transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
  • Handles merchandise returns and exchanges
  • Knowledgeable on basic reports and inventory
  • Organizes and carries product loads during stocking, preparing displays, and maintaining inventory
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned by their immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least a High School graduate
  • Work experience as a cashier
  • Customer satisfaction-oriented
  • Familiarity with cash register and POS
  • Good arithmetic skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications/Google Suite
  • Capable of safely lifting and handling heavy objects
  • Paid training
