Job summary

Salu-Salo Food Concepts Corp is seeking a Kiosk Cashier to join our food kiosk operations at Shawarma Joes, Araneta City, Quezon City. You will be the face of our business, handling sales and processing cash and card payments on-site.

Responsibilities include balancing tills, delivering friendly service, scanning products, and maintaining an organized kiosk while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cashier or in food service is advantageous.
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive and professional demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced food service environment.
• Good communication skills in English and/or Filipino.

About the role

We are seeking a Kiosk Cashier to join our food kiosk operations at Shawarma Joes, Level 2 Cyberpark Tower 1, Araneta City in Quezon City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be the face of our business, delivering exceptional customer service whilst managing financial transactions at our kiosk. This position is essential to creating a positive experience and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will work on-site at our Araneta City location, where you will be responsible for processing sales, handling cash and card payments, and maintaining a well‑organised kiosk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process customer transactions
• Handling cash, card payments and other payment methods with precision and integrity
• Balancing the till at the start and end of each shift to ensure financial accuracy
• Providing friendly, professional and courteous customer service to all shoppers
• Scanning products and assisting customers with inquiries about merchandise
• Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked kiosk throughout the day
• Following all company policies, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Reporting discrepancies or issues to management promptly
• Assisting with promotional activities and merchandising displays as required
• Supporting other team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service
