Job summary

OCIC Consulting International Inc. is seeking a proactive Junior Tax Associate to join our growing team in the Philippines. You will assist with tax preparation, filing, and compliance, while supporting client financial records and regulatory obligations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and a solid grasp of BIR rules. You will work under the Tax Manager and collaborate with Senior Tax Associates to meet deadlines and deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant taxation or accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR compliance, payroll, and govt contributions.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with accounting systems.
• Experience using BIR-provided software and other accounting applications.

Responsibilities

• Tax preparation, filing monthly, quarterly and annual returns and schedules.
• Monitor client revenues and expenses for accurate tax reporting.
• Coordinate with clients to gather documents and compliance requirements.
• Monitor tax payments and government contributions for timely filing.
• Stay updated on Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations.
• Assist in payroll-related tax computations and reporting.
• Support tax audits with required documentation.
• Collaborate with Senior Tax Associates and Tax Manager to manage multiple clients.
• Perform other tax duties as directed by the Tax Manager.
