• Manage multiple tasks/projects, often under tight deadlines; specifically provide support to Senior Tax Associates or Tax Manager.

Role Description The Junior Tax Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Manila. This position involves assisting with tax preparation and compliance for corporate and individual clients, including the collection, organization, and review of financial documents. The Junior Tax Associate helps prepare tax returns, supports the analysis of tax regulations, and coordinates with senior team members to ensure accurate filings and adherence to local tax laws. The role also includes maintaining records, responding to basic client inquiries, and supporting the preparation of reports and documentation for tax audits or regulatory submissions.

Basic Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or any related finance course
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in taxation or accounting; at least 1 year experience if worked under the similar industry (i.e., tax and accounting consultancy)
• Basic knowledge of tax compliance, payroll, and government contributions
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet strict deadlines
• Familiarity with different accounting and BIR-provided software
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Able to work under supervision but with increasing independence
