Qualifications

• CPA certification.
• At least 2 years of auditing or taxation experience.
• Knowledge of Netsuite, SAP or Oracle would be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual income tax returns.
• Reconcile tax accounts in balance sheet and income statement.
• Answer tax queries from operations, employees and suppliers.
• Review vendor bills and supporting documents.
• Monitor tax compliance for the company and related entities.
• Lead VAT refund applications.
• Assist in tax audits for Philippines and offshore subsidiaries.
• Prepare SLSP, QAP and Annual Alphalists.
• Engage with auditors/consultants on inquiries.
• Stay updated with BIR rules and PEZA regulations.

Schedule: Morning shift

• Prepares and files monthly, quarterly and annual income tax returns
• Reconciles tax-related accounts in balance sheet and income statement
• Answers tax queries from operations, employees and suppliers
• Reviews bills and other supporting documents issued by vendors
• Regularly checks the tax compliance of the Company
• Leads the VAT refund application
• Attends to tax audit of Philippines and non-Philippine subsidiaries
• Prepares SLSP, QAP and Annual Alphalists
• Attends various inquiries from/to auditors/consultants
• Monitors BIR regulation and new issuances and designs and recommends procedure to implement the new regulation/issuances in the company operations
• Verify suppliers contracts and agreement and identify the taxability of each
• Write up / documentation of proper handling of transactions that can possibly affect the taxability of the company
• Other compliance requirements of BIR, PEZA, BOI, SEC, BOC and other governing bodies
• Prepares and files Hongkong and Australian tax returns and related compliance requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• With at least 2 years of experience in the fields of auditing and taxation
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Netsuite, SAP, Oracle
• Experience with the Big 4 is a plus
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Confident with excellent communication skills
• Well-versed in PFRS, BIR issuances, and PEZA rules
