Job Description

• Collaborates with Account Managers to interpret client briefs.
• Develops creative ideas and concepts, often partnering with the Art Director and Account Manager.
• Drafts communication strategies, including project stories and backgrounds.
• Presents ideas to colleagues and clients.
• Studies clients' products, services, target audiences, and competitors' activities.
• Writes clear, persuasive, and original copy.
• Recommends relevant media channels.
• Proofreads copy, ensuring correct spelling and grammar, especially for final artworks.
• Revises or redevelops adverts or campaigns based on feedback from the creative director, account team, or clients.
• Oversees campaigns through production to final artwork.
• Manages multiple campaigns simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
• Keeps up-to-date with cultural trends for continuous campaign innovation.
• Monitors the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.
• Creates copy-based content for social media and digital platforms.
• Responsible for all copy outputs across various formats.

Requirements

• Proficient in written communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of written Filipino and English, including basic principles of both languages.
• Proven track record with a strong portfolio of successful copywriting projects in advertising, marketing, or branding.
• Industry knowledge to understand target audiences and their needs.
• Experience in agency or in-house marketing teams, providing collaborative insights.
• Proficiency in writing for various formats such as print, digital, social media, and video scripts.
