AECOM is seeking a Junior Project Controller – Reporting & Performance Analytics to join our hybrid team in the Philippines. You will build Power BI dashboards, analyze data, and automate processes using Python, supporting project and financial reporting across diverse datasets.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, stakeholder communication, and leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot) to drive insights and efficiency. Hybrid work and cross-functional collaboration are core to the position.

• 2–4 years of experience in BI/Data Analytics or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables and data analysis.
• Strong Power BI knowledge: data modeling and reports.
• Experience with SharePoint data management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business and project performance tracking
• Collect, clean, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
• Use Python for data processing, analysis, and automation where applicable
• Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency of reports
• Analyze cost, budget, manpower, labor hours, and performance data
• Support project and financial reporting, including actual vs. budget analysis and variance tracking
• Identify opportunities to improve manual processes through automation and data-driven solutions
• Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to support data analysis, troubleshooting, research, and solution development
• Develop and maintain SharePoint-based data repositories and reporting solutions
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective reports and analytical solutions
• Provide analytical support for ad-hoc requests and business/project reviews
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Reporting, Automation, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, PivotTables, and data analysis
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI, including: Power Query DAX Data modeling Relationships Dashboard and report development
• Experience with SharePoint, particularly lists and data management
• Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, manipulation, or automation
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot for productivity, troubleshooting, analysis, or solution development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
• Exposure to project controls, cost reporting, or financial analysis
• Familiarity with WBS, budget monitoring, variance analysis, and earned value concepts
• Experience working with large datasets or multiple data sources
• Interest in emerging technologies, AI, and automation
