Job summary

Hadley Designs Philippines is seeking an early-career illustrator to create new artwork and complete sets in our established style across product lines. You will draw original elements with a cute, kid-friendly aesthetic and turn concepts from the C-suite into production-ready designs, managing handoff through final build-out and preparing print-ready files.

Qualifications

• Early-career illustrator with genuine drawing talent and a strong eye for playful, kid-friendly design.
• Portfolio demonstrating original illustration work aligned with a cute, playful, or product-design sensibility.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for native illustration.
• Ability to match and extend an existing art style and complete sets naturally.
• Strong skills in taking written and verbal creative direction and delivering finished work.
• Reliability in meeting deadlines while managing multiple pieces simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create new artwork and complete sets in Hadley Designs' established style across product lines.
• Draw original elements such as characters, motifs, patterns, and scenes with a cute, kid-friendly aesthetic.
• Turn the Chief Creative Officer's concepts into finished, production-ready product designs.
• Carry designs from initial handoff through final build-out independently.
• Manage execution tasks including variations, full set build-outs, and file preparation to free the CCO's capacity.
• Prepare print and production files to specification and build mockups and product previews.
• Maintain style consistency and update the living style-reference as the catalog grows.
• Provide occasional support for ad operations and revisions on existing product lines.
