Job summary

Microchip Technology Philippines is seeking an Engineer I - Test Hardware CAD. You will design PCBs and generate documents, review designs, and communicate schedules within a global team.

The role focuses on quality, timely delivery, and adherence to tester requirements and unit methodologies. Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in PCB design, familiarity with schematic design and PCB layout, and knowledge of Altium Designer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering required.
• 0–2 years’ PCB design experience preferred.
• Familiarity with schematic design and PCB layout is required.
• Altium Designer knowledge is a plus.
• Strong English communication and ability to work in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Produce/design high quality PCB that meets tester requirements and BU methodology.
• Prepare and generate design documents and deliverables.
• Review PCB designs using specified checklist.
• Provide design feedback and communicate project schedule.
• Conduct incoming inspection on assigned projects.
• Assign/delegate tasks and attend design review meetings.
• Complete tasks timely and maintain productivity and quality.
• Aim to optimize project cycle time and on-time performance.
