Job summary

Global Titan Mines & Development Corp. is seeking a motivated Junior Geologist to join the exploration team in the Philippines. You will assist with geological mapping, field reconnaissance, sampling, data collection, and documentation under guidance from the Senior Geologist.

The role involves preparing geological reports, coordinating with field personnel, and maintaining geological databases. Remote field assignments and work in varied field conditions are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology with or without license is required.
• 1–2 years of geological experience is an advantage.
• Experience in mining, mineral exploration, field mapping, drilling, sampling is beneficial.
• Familiarity with geological mapping, rock/soil identification, and basic data collection.

Responsibilities

• Assist in geological mapping, traversing, outcrop identification, and field observations.
• Identify and document rock types, structures, alteration, and mineralization.
• Conduct geological and rock/soil sampling according to approved procedures.
• Assist in preparing and updating geological maps, sections, and field sketches.
• Collect GPS coordinates and other relevant field measurements.
• Assist with survey and exploration activities as directed by the Senior Geologist.
• Encode and maintain geological data, sample results, coordinates, photographs, and field records.
• Assist in compiling and organizing geological databases and reports.
• Coordinate with field personnel, survey teams, contractors, and other site departments.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and presentations.

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Geologist to join our growing exploration team. The role involves assisting in geological mapping, field reconnaissance, sampling, data collection and documentation, supporting exploration activities, and preparing geological reports and records under the guidance of the Senior/Project Geologist.

About you
