Vertaccount Inc. is seeking a Junior Front-End Developer to support developing and enhancing web interfaces based on approved UI/UX designs. You will work with the team to build responsive interfaces and integrate front-end components with APIs and backend services.

The role offers exposure to modern front-end tech, code reviews, and ongoing skill development. Occasional onsite attendance near Alabang may be required, with benefits supporting your growth and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-2 years of frontend experience.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of REST APIs and frontend-backend integration.
• Familiarity with React.js or Angular is an advantage.
• Based near Alabang for occasional office attendance.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Front-End Developer, you will support the development and enhancement of web applications by helping build responsive and user-friendly interfaces based on approved requirements and UI/UX designs. You will work closely with the development team across development, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities, including integrating front-end components with APIs and backend services.

The role also provides opportunities to develop your technical skills, apply established coding and UI/UX practices, and contribute to application enhancements and maintenance.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
• Implement UI/UX designs and requirements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, and related front-end technologies.
• Build and enhance front-end components based on approved requirements and designs.
• Participate in code reviews, follow established UI/UX standards, coding practices, and development guidelines.
• Integrate front-end components with APIs and backend services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and assist in investigating application issues involving APIs and backend services.
• Participate in requirements analysis and help translate business requirements into functional and user-friendly interfaces.
• Collaborate with the development team during sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Document development activities, changes, and issue resolutions as needed.
• Support application enhancements, maintenance, and other development activities.
• Continuously develop technical skills in front-end and web application development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in front-end or web development.
• Basic to working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with jQuery and Bootstrap or similar front-end libraries/frameworks.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and front-end to backend integration.
• Basic understanding of OOP and clean coding practices.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.js or Angular is an advantage.
• Familiarity with C#, .NET/ASP.NET, or SQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and sprint-based development is an advantage.
• Preferably residing near Alabang, as occasional office attendance may be required.
