Qualifications

About the role

We are seeking a talented Front End Developer to join Gitamondoc-Gopaoco Construction Corporation. This is a full-time position based in Camputhaw, Cebu City, Cebu. As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining user-facing applications and interfaces that deliver exceptional digital experiences. You will work collaboratively with designers, back-end developers and stakeholders to transform requirements into elegant, responsive and high-performance web solutions. This role is strategically important to our organisation as we continue to modernise our digital presence and enhance our online platforms for clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications using modern front-end technologies and frameworks

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Front End Developer or similar role
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript, with strong understanding of DOM manipulation and event handling
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js or Angular
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development approaches
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience integrating third-party services
• Experience with web development tools and build systems such as Webpack, Babel or npm
• Knowledge of web performance optimisation techniques and tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with testing frameworks and unit testing is preferred
• Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS is advantageous
