Job summary

RippedBoxStation in Manila is seeking a Junior ETL Engineer to help design and maintain data pipelines using Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, and related tools. You will assist in building robust data mappings, transformations, and workflows, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring adherence to coding standards under the guidance of senior engineers.

Responsibilities include developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes, performing unit testing and debugging to guarantee data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years of ETL/ data integration experience.
• Basic understanding of ETL/ELT concepts.
• Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory, SSIS).
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Support data mappings, transformations, and workflows to integrate data from multiple sources.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes under guidance of senior engineers.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and validation of ETL jobs.
• Assist in monitoring scheduled workflows and resolve basic data issues.
• Support data migration, cleansing, and transformation activities for reporting and analytics.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and mappings.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, DBAs, and Analysts within Agile teams.
• Follow data governance, security, and ETL standards.
• Participate in bug fixes and feature enhancements.
