Job summary

Kaertech Electronic Philippines, Incorporated in Laguna is seeking a Cadet Engineer to join our electronics team. You will work on electronic design, schematic capture, libraries management, BOMs, and layout, with exposure to RF design and testing.

Fresh graduates or interns are welcome; familiarity with ALTIUM or similar CAD tools is a plus. You will gain hands-on experience with common lab equipment and contribute to production docs, test plans, and product verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar field.
• Up to 6 months related work experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Experience with ALTIUM or similar CAD tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer).
• Knowledge of RF design and RF testing is advantageous.
• Understanding of basic electronics, circuits, and MCUs (Cortex-M0 to M4).
• Basic firmware knowledge (C/C++).

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuits, schematics, libraries, BOMs and PCB layouts as per specifications.
• Assist RF design and testing; contribute to acceptance criteria and testing protocols.
• Develop test plans and ensure proper test interfaces for product validation.
• Generate production documentation: assembly instructions, Gerber files, placement files, test instructions.
• Test products using standard lab equipment and document results.
• Support basic firmware/software tasks related to the product.

Job Details

• Electronic designs: Electronic specification, Schematic Capture, Libraries management, BOM and Layout.

• Knowledge in RF design and RF testing is an advantage, but not required.

• Has knowledge in basic testing of our products: Test Plan including acceptance criteria, Derating, Open / Short test, Thermal analysis, RF Tests, Antenna adaptation.

• Performs product testing: integrates in the design all test interfaces for the testing of the product.

• Generates documentation for production: Assembly instruction, Gerber files, Placement file, Stack-up, PCBA 3D step, and Test instructions.

• Good understanding of basic electronic circuits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS in Electronics Engineering or similar course.

• With up to 6 months related work experience.

• Also open to fresh graduates who accomplished internship or projects in similar industry for Cadet Engineer program.

• Knowledge in using ALTIUM (Electronic CAD Software) or any of the following such as: Eagle CAD, Proteus etc.; this is an advantage but not required.

• Operating familiarity with standard laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, spectrum analyzer, Network Analyzer, soldering tools).

• Knowledge in RF design and RF testing: Bluetooth, WIFI, NFC, RFID, Antenna design, Antenna adaptation is an advantage.

• Background in small power (<10W) DC/DC converters, and linear regulators.

• Knowledge in MCU, 8 to 32-bit families, Cortex M0 to M4 and peripherals.

• Understands digital design (Cortex A8 to A31) with high speed signals (SDRAM. Flash, USB, MIPI, Ethernet).

• Basic knowledge in firmware and software development: C/C++ language is an advantage.
