The role focuses on monitoring systems and networks for intrusions, responding to phishing and malware incidents, and performing thorough investigations to provide post-event analysis.

You will assess risks and deploy countermeasures while collaborating with multiple stakeholders to safeguard our environment.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Google's GCP security controls and threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in security protocols and standard network protocols.
• Experience with security incident response and post-event analysis.
• Experience with penetration testing tools and vulnerability scanners.

Responsibilities

• Part of Global 24x7x365 IT Security Operations support group (shifting schedule).
• Monitor systems and networks for intrusions, attacks, and unusual activities.
• Respond to phishing, malware, breaches, and other security incidents.
• Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents.
• Provide accurate post-event analysis.
• Assess risks and develop solutions for vulnerabilities.
• Respond and deploy countermeasures during cyber-attacks.
• Identify and mitigate risks, enhancing security protocols and collaborate with stakeholders.
