Job summary

PUMA is seeking a cybersecurity professional to monitor threats, analyze security incidents, and assist in penetration testing and vulnerability management. The role involves dashboard maintenance, tool administration, and ensuring policy adherence across security processes.

The candidate should have a foundational networking background, familiarity with Windows/Linux, and knowledge of OWASP Top 10. Cloud concepts and SIEM experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities, such as the OWASP Top 10.
• Exposure to security testing tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit and vulnerability scanners.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and stay current on emerging threats and attack techniques.
• Support, investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause, scope and impact.
• Assist in planning, coordination, and reporting of penetration testing activities.
• Participate in vulnerability scanning and remediation tracking.
• Maintain IT security dashboards for stakeholders.
