The role involves working closely with senior consultants and client finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, insights, and informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, strong analytical skills, and basic knowledge of financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of financial statements (B/S, I/S, Cash Flow).
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or financial reporting is an advantage.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup (Ortigas, Pasig + remote).

Responsibilities

• Review and validate client financial reports for accuracy and reasonableness.
• Analyze financial statements and prepare management dashboards and reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities with senior consultants.
• Support client finance teams in accounting-related concerns and reporting accuracy.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and deliverables.
• Prepare monthly work plans and provide updates during Check-in/Check-out sessions.
• Participate in performance evaluations using scorecards and seek feedback.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding during client transitions.
• Ensure timely delivery of deliverables per SLA.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients for collaboration.
• Identify client concerns and elevate issues when needed.
• Support account reviews related to profitability and CSAT.

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Consultant - FP&A to support financial reporting, analysis, and planning activities for client engagements. The role involves working closely with senior consultants and client finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, insights generation, and support for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Review and validate client financial reports by checking significant financial transactions for accuracy and reasonableness
• Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow) and prepare management dashboards and reports
• Assist Senior Consultants / Project Leads in financial simulations, budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities
• Support client finance teams in accounting-related concerns, including proper accounting recognition and reporting accuracy

Self-Management / Performance

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and deliverables effectively
• Prepare monthly work plans and provide regular updates during Check-in and Check-out (CICO) sessions
• Participate in monthly performance evaluation using scorecards and actively seek coaching and feedback
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding activities during client transitions

Client Management

• Ensure timely delivery of assigned deliverables based on Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams and clients to support effective collaboration
• Identify client concerns and elevate issues to the immediate supervisor when needed
• Support account reviews related to profitability and customer satisfaction (CSAT)

Others

• Recommend improvements to reporting processes and service delivery practices
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate head
