Job summary

Relx Plc in Manila is seeking a Junior Compliance Analyst to collect and evaluate data to identify potential risks and their financial impact. You will support risk management through reports, models, forecasts, risk scenario analysis and financial risk management activities.

The role focuses on data collection and analysis, generating standard reports, and ensuring policy and regulatory compliance while building capabilities through ongoing training and enterprise AI tools.

Qualifications

• A university degree in accounting or relevant professional qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle R12 and Blackline.
• High-level knowledge of R2R, P2P, and CRR processes.
• Intermediate skills in balance sheet reconciliations and analytical review.
• Experience in financial statements preparation is preferred.
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficient Excel.
• Willingness to learn and apply enterprise AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Collects and evaluates data to identify potential risks and their financial impact.
• Support risk management decision-making through reports, models, forecasts and risk scenario analysis.
• Carry out the financial risk management process within a specific area or operation.
• Support the analysis and assessment of risks to determine if within risk appetite.
• Produce accurate reports from data sources and input into standard formats.
• Develop knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory codes to ensure compliance.
• Develop personal capabilities through training and coaching; stay updated on regulatory practices.
