Job summary

Goodyear is seeking an indirect procurement professional to support day-to-day activities, including requisitions, PO issuance, supplier sourcing, and policy compliance. You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing issues and maintain accurate procurement data.

You will also contribute to sourcing efforts and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver cost-effective procurement services across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
• Customer service experience or exposure to handling requests from internal customers.
• Strong English communication skills; local language proficiency may be needed for supported countries.
• Ability to follow established procedures, analyze information, solve problems, and manage priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders, and manage purchasing requests per policies and SLAs.
• Conduct sourcing activities, evaluate supplier quotations, and secure competitive pricing, delivery schedules, and terms.
• Monitor and expedite purchase orders; resolve order and invoice issues; provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate supplier, catalog, and procurement system data to support operations.
• Support supplier compliance initiatives and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance procurement effectiveness and automation.

What We’re Looking for

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related business/technical field; qualified undergraduate candidates may also be considered.
• You have customer service experience and the ability to accurately understand, process, and respond to customer requests; entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
• You have effective English communication skills and, where required, proficiency in the local language of supported countries.
• You are able to follow established procedures, analyze information, solve problems, and manage priorities effectively.
• You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• You ideally have procurement shared services experience and are willing to work flexible schedules when required.
