Rippedboxstation in the Philippines is seeking a Junior Application / Solution Architect to assist in designing architectures and supporting cloud migration. You will work under senior architects, collaborate with developers and QA, and help document ADRs, designs, and specifications.

Requirements include a related bachelor's degree and 0–2 years in tech roles, basic architecture concepts, and knowledge of REST, databases, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 0–2 years in software development or related tech roles.
• Basic understanding of software architecture and design concepts.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Understanding of REST APIs, web services, databases, and integration.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Ability to work under close guidance daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and developing application and solution architectures under guidance.
• Support custom software development, integration, and cloud migration.
• Document ADRs, solution designs, and implementation guides.
• Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in technology evaluation and selection for projects.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and simple feature development.
• Support deployment, releases, and production issue resolution.
• Maintain architecture diagrams and knowledge base articles.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, business analysts and project teams through SDLC.
• Follow enterprise architecture standards and security guidelines.
• Escalate issues and architectural decisions when needed.
