Join the team as an Entry-level Data Research Analyst, focusing on financial document analysis and data quality.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Obtaining financial documents and data collection from various sources.
- Ensuring data quality and verification.
- Researching regulatory filings to support multiple ISS databases.
- Maintaining an up-to-date database of mutual funds and ETFs.
- Analyzing and extracting key industry data for client applications and reports.
- Collecting data based on established methodologies and performance standards.
- Utilizing ISS databases, SEC Edgar, and the Internet for research.
- Participating in data quality assurance and root-cause analysis.
- Conducting in-depth analysis of mutual fund strategies and objectives.
- Summarizing industry changes in client reports.
- Supporting process improvement and technology projects.
- Maintaining documentation of work processes in a centralized database.
- Collaborating with team members in the Philippines and the U.S.
- Cross-training and expanding responsibilities across ISS databases.
- Performing special projects and related duties as assigned.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of the mutual fund, annuity, and/or insurance industry is a plus.
- Experience in gathering and analyzing financial data from regulatory documents.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting, critical-thinking, and quality assurance skills.
- Experience using Excel for financial data manipulation is a plus.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment with diverse staff.

- The work location is in Makati City, and the work schedule is permanent late day shift (12nn-9pm, Manila Time).
- Hybrid working arrangement requires at least 3 days onsite per week.
Training & Development
The role includes onsite training for at least 2 months before transitioning to a hybrid working arrangement.
