Job summary

AImagineers is seeking an entry-level AI/ML Engineer to join our delivery team on a 12-month fixed-term contract in the Philippines. This role is built for someone early in their career who seeks mentorship and real responsibility on production-grade AI systems.

You will design, build, and maintain AI features for government and institutional clients, work with RAG pipelines, vector databases, and LLM integrations, and collaborate with the Founder & CEO on architecture and delivery.

Qualifications

• This is an entry-level, fixed-term role with mentorship and growth opportunities.
• Strong Python fundamentals and ability to build production-grade APIs.
• Experience with FastAPI or Django and exposure to RAG/LLM technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI-powered features on production systems.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines and vector search architectures.
• Build backend APIs and data pipelines powering AI features across platforms.
• Contribute to frontend interfaces using React and Vite.
• Collaborate with the Founder & CEO on architecture and client deliverables.
• Participate in requirements gathering and solution design for engagements.
• Write clean, tested code and contribute to internal tooling.
• Take ownership in a small studio environment and adapt quickly.
