Job summary

Liveware in Makati is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The role focuses on basic accounting tasks, on‑time recording of transactions and meticulous reconciliation work.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in accounting, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. On‑site work, supportive payroll processing, and exposure to BIR reporting are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
• Understanding of payroll processes and requirements.
• Experience with accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
• Exposure to bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Record day to day financial transactions (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements) accurately and on time.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with accounts payable & accounts receivable functions.
• Assist with payroll processing and related payroll administration.
• Assist with tracking statutory contributions to ensure accurate recording and timely payment processing.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly|quarterly| annual financial reports.
• Assist with the preparation and timely filling of BIR returns.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring, reconciliation and reporting.
• Maintain accurate and organised financial files and supporting documentation.
• Support process improvement initiatives within the Finance team.
• Liaise with other departments to obtain financial information and resolve discrepancies.
• Identify and report discrepancies or unusual transactions to the Senior Financial Accountant.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance team.
• Complete accounting tasks accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Other accounting duties as assigned
