Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP or IFRS.
• Manage general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
• Advise on tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize deductions.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee salaries, benefits, and tax deductions.
