Job summary

Amadeus is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our Loyalty Solutions team. You will design, develop, and maintain Java-based services that power airline engagements, using Spring Boot and Kubernetes in a global, customer-focused environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across the software lifecycle, troubleshoot issues, and continuously adopt new technologies. Strong English communication and a proactive, ownership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise software using Java and related technologies.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring, or Hibernate is an advantage.
• Experience with Angular is considered an advantage.
• Experience working within Agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of multithreaded applications is a plus.
• Understanding of software development best practices and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and services.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from development and testing to maintenance and support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Participate in bug fixing, system maintenance, and continuous improvement activities.
