Job summary

Snowrelic Inc in the Philippines is seeking a senior Java/API lead to design and build scalable, high-performance applications using Java 21+ and Spring Boot 3. You will architect RESTful APIs, drive OpenAPI-driven development, and oversee API lifecycle management.

This role covers enterprise integration with Apache Camel 4, messaging systems such as JMS, AWS ECS/Fargate, Docker, OpenTelemetry, and frontend integration with Angular/React.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing scalable Java 21+ applications.
• Expert in API development with REST and OpenAPI specifications.
• Hands-on with enterprise integration using Apache Camel 4 and EIPs.
• Experience with AWS, ECS/Fargate, JMS messaging and Docker.
• Knowledge of API management gateways (Gravitee preferred).
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and observability tooling.
• Frontend tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React/React Native.
• Strong MySQL experience and unit testing with JUnit 5/Mockito.

Required Skills

• Integration: Strong expertise in Apache Camel 4
• Deep understanding of EIPs (Enterprise Integration Patterns), Message‑driven architecture and Event‑driven systems
• API Development & Management: Strong experience in REST API design, OpenAPI (OAS) specification development, Stub generation (server & client), Experience with API gateways (Gravitee preferred)
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS (mandatory), ECS, Fargate, Amazon MQ / ActiveMQ, Redis, Docker & containerization, CI/CD pipelines
• Observability: OpenTelemetry implementation with Spring Boot, Logging, tracing, and monitoring
• Frontend: Strong experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular / React / React Native
• Database: Strong experience with RDBMS (MySQL)
