Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking a skilled Java-focused professional to join as an application support/ developer in Cebu City. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and a solid background in Java EE, enterprise app development, and debugging.

You will work with business users, developers, and QA teams to resolve issues, design solutions, and maintain enterprise applications. The on-site morning shift contributes to stability and continuous improvement across systems.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and business continuity.
Analyze application logs, system metrics, and error reports to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential system anomalies or service disruptions.
Gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications and application solutions.
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise applications and web-based systems as required.
Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders to resolve issues and improve application functionality.
Support application updates, patches, enhancements, and deployment activities.
Perform system analysis, database design, quality assurance, and application lifecycle support when required.
Document technical findings, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions to maintain a reliable knowledge base.
Participate actively in technical discussions, contribute to team initiatives, and recommend improvements to application performance and support processes.
Work independently on assigned tasks and progressively develop subject matter expertise in the supported applications.

Qualifications and Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience in Java application development, application support, programming, or systems analysis.
Strong hands‑on proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
Experience in enterprise application development, maintenance, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of enterprise application architecture, software design patterns, and application support processes.
Experience in gathering requirements, systems analysis, application design, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with database design, SQL, and quality assurance practices.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and contribute effectively to team discussions.
