Job summary

GECO Asia Pte Ltd in Manila is seeking an experienced JavaEE developer to join our team. You will design and implement solutions based on architecture and business requirements and collaborate with QA and Support teams.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in CS or similar, at least two years of Java development, strong ETL experience with data mapping, transformation, and loading, and hands-on knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, HTML, CSS, SQL Server and Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Software Engineering or similar.
• 2+ years of Java development experience.
• Strong ETL experience: design, mapping, extraction, transformation and loading.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server and Oracle.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions based on architecture and business requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with team and cross-team (QA and Support).
• Develop, and test ETL processes using MuleSoft to ingest data, transform it to a common format, and update target locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar relevant study
• Previous working experience as a Java Developer for 2 years.
• Strong ETL experience in design, configuration, data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading in an extremely complex environment
• Working knowledge and experience using Java, JavaScript, Servlets, JSP, HTML and CSS
• Experience with RDBM systems: SQL Server, Oracle
• Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
