PaxSigna, a specialist talent solutions division of the Lennor Group, is recruiting for a senior systems analyst role based in Cebu City. The position focuses on analyzing, designing, and maintaining enterprise and web applications, with emphasis on Java EE and related technologies.

You will work onsite with cross-functional teams across regions, handling lifecycle activities from requirements to deployment.

• Monitor performance and identify potential issues before end users are affected.
• Participate in QA activities during development and deployment lifecycle.

Compensation Range: up to ₱40,000 per month

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Independently analyze, develop, support, and maintain enterprise and web-based applications, building subject matter expertise in assigned systems and technologies.

• Gather and analyze business and user requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications and application designs.

• Perform system analysis, architecture and database design, application development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.

• Actively participate in technical discussions, contribute solutions to work-related challenges, and recommend improvements to application functionality and performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to investigate system behavior, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement timely resolutions.

• Debug complex application issues and analyze application logs, system metrics, and other technical data to identify root causes.

• Document technical findings, troubleshooting procedures, resolutions, and system processes to maintain a reliable knowledge base.

• Support application lifecycle management, system maintenance, and established application support processes.

• Assist with the implementation and validation of system updates, patches, and enhancements to maintain application stability and performance.

• Monitor application performance and proactively identify potential issues before they affect end users.

• Participate in quality assurance activities throughout the application development and implementation lifecycle.

• Support project management activities, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to the successful delivery of technical initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE).

• At least 5 years of experience in systems analysis and design, including database design, application development, implementation, and quality assurance at a System Analyst level.

• At least 3 years of experience in application development, programming, and system support at an Analyst Programmer level.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, software design patterns, and system design principles.

• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems.

• Familiarity with application lifecycle management and application support methodologies.

• Ability to analyze application logs, system metrics, and technical data to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Java Standard Edition (Java SE).

• Experience developing applications using Spring Boot.

• Experience supporting enterprise application environments and collaborating across functional and technical teams.

• Experience improving application performance, system reliability, and software quality through testing and continuous improvement.
