About the Role

We are seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to join NEW ASIA OIL INCORPORATED. This is a full-time position based in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As an IT Technical Support Specialist, you will be the frontline support for our organization, providing essential technical assistance to ensure our systems and infrastructure run smoothly.

This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and user satisfaction across the company, supporting both internal staff and business operations through prompt and effective troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, and upgrade LAN/WAN network connections and equipment.

• Respond to service calls regarding activation, installation, tracing, and transfer of network connections.

• Provide desktop support for PCs, printers, email, internet connectivity, software applications, and network activation issues.

• Continuously monitor systems, software, and hardware performance.

• Deliver technical support and resolve IT-related concerns promptly.

• Administer and maintain the Accounting SAGE / SAP / ERP systems.

• Manage biometric system maintenance and generate DTR payroll extraction reports every cut-off.

• Maintain and troubleshoot HRIS systems.

• Oversee license management for PCs and servers, including procurement, installation, tracking, and compliance.

• Create, manage, and deploy operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac OS).

• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware/software for desktops, notebooks, and peripheral devices.

• Install, configure, manage, and maintain network equipment.

• Provide troubleshooting and recovery services for IT desktop-related software and hardware.

• Support intelligent mobile devices and multimedia adjournment systems.

• Generate statistics and updates on auxiliary fixed assets information.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; IT certification or tertiary qualification in Computer Science/Information Technology highly desirable.

• Experience: 1–3 years of proven technical support experience in a help desk or similar IT support environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Familiarity with network fundamentals.

  • Experience with ticketing systems, remote support tools, and IT asset management software.

  • Hardware troubleshooting, network connectivity, and peripheral device support (preferred).

  • Familiarity with IT security protocols and data protection practices (advantageous).

  • Experience in troubleshooting Accounting Systems SAGE, SAP, ERP (advantageous).

• Core Competencies:
