Job summary

WeSearch@Searchers & Staffers Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced IT Security Lead to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and protect our systems, networks, data, and users.

You will collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and our external SOC provider to identify risks and drive security improvements. You will lead security initiatives, develop architecture standards, manage security tools like SIEM and firewalls, and guide incident response, vulnerability management,

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of network and infrastructure security.
• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, IAM, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Understanding of risk assessment, security policies, VAPT, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with AI security risks and emerging cybersecurity threats.
• Scripting experience with Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, or similar languages is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNA, ITIL, SANS/GIAC, or ISO 27001 are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IT security architecture, standards, and roadmaps.
• Manage and enhance security technologies including firewalls, IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, authentication, and access controls.
• Partner with network and infrastructure teams to secure LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and enterprise environments.
• Assess and manage cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation plans.
• Lead and support security incident response, monitoring, investigation, and escalation.
• Review and tune SIEM alerts and security monitoring capabilities.
• Support VAPT, vulnerability management, malware protection, and endpoint security initiatives.
• Develop and enforce BYOD, access control, and information security policies.
• Assess security risks associated with AI technologies and implementations.
