Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic testing types such as functional testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Understanding the role of QA in the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding how to design simple test cases based on software requirements.
• Ability to execute manual test cases to identify and report software issues.
• Basic knowledge of how to follow test cases and document test results.
• Familiarity with how to log and track software bugs and issues.
• Ability to document test steps and expected results clearly and systematically.
• Basic analytical skills to identify patterns or potential causes of issues.
• Willingness to learn new testing tools, methodologies, and technologies.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, test cases, and deadlines.
• Familiarity with simple SQL queries (e.g., SELECT statements) to validate data is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of bug-tracking tools, such as JIRA, AzureDevOps, or other task management Tools, is beneficial.
• Exposure to API testing concepts and tools like Postman can be advantageous, though not mandatory.
