Job summary

TaskUs PH is seeking a student-minded IT Support role to deliver frontline assistance to end-users via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system. You'll resolve routine IT issues including password resets and software troubleshooting while logging requests in the ITSM tool.

You will also escalate unresolved problems to specialized teams, keep users informed on incident status and changes, and contribute to updating knowledge bases and self-service resources.

Qualifications

• Must be actively pursuing studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields; equivalent certifications or hands-on experience are also accepted.
• Solid understanding of customer service principles.
• Familiarity with core office suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office/365), computer hardware, and basic troubleshooting for peripherals like mouse, keyboards, and headsets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in emerging technologies.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support to end-users via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system, resolving routine IT issues such as software troubleshooting, login challenges, and password resets.
• Document, prioritize, log, and monitor assistance requests using the enterprise ITSM ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to specialized technical teams following established service level agreements (SLAs).
• Coordinate communication with users and stakeholders by providing updates on incident resolution, upcoming changes, or pending approvals.
• Review and update internal technical resources and customer-facing self-service documentation.
