Job summary

MicroSourcing in Pasay City is seeking an IT Security Risk Analyst to safeguard our digital environment onsite at Mall of Asia. You will investigate cybersecurity incidents with MSSPs, monitor events via SIEM and Microsoft security tools, and assess risks across ICT projects and operations.

You will conduct third-party security reviews, develop incident response playbooks, and promote security best practices across the organization, driving continuous improvement and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cyber Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Third-Party Security, or a related cybersecurity function.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, security controls, and incident response processes.
• Experience working with SIEM platforms, Microsoft security technologies, and Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS environments.

Responsibilities

• Investigate cybersecurity incidents alongside managed security service providers, performing root cause analysis and supporting containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and Microsoft security technologies to detect suspicious or malicious activity.
• Assess cybersecurity risks across ICT projects, digital initiatives, and business operations while supporting governance and compliance requirements.
• Conduct security assessments for third-party vendors, supply chain partners, and new technologies, ensuring identified risks are addressed promptly.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, awareness programs, operational procedures, and incident response playbooks while promoting security best practices across the organization.
