Job description

This position shall ensure the effective management and administration of the company's security infrastructure and the protection of the company's computer network, systems, and information assets in alignment with security standards. He/She will also be responsible for implementing and managing all security defense-in-depth applications and documenting security issues or breaches that may be found. As Head of IT Security, He/She will lead a team of IT Security Officers.

Responsibilities

IT Security Management

• Ensuring security updates are current across all systems
• Analyzing network systems and structures to ensure the most secure approach is being employed
• Ensuring security tools are running properly on company networks and devices
• Researching emerging threats and the safeguards that can provide protection
• Protecting the digital system of a company
• Developing systems for specialized security requirements based on specific company needs
• Optimizing systems to ensure the network is supportive and responsive
• Presenting findings, reports and solutions to upper management
• Studying devices and implementing the best security protocols for everything from cell phones to tablets to laptops
• Managing the IT Security Team — ensuring that all IT Security Officers meet expectations of their roles
• Collaborating with the CISO on security matters and with the CTO/CIO for implementation

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
• 5-10 years of experience in IT security
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 44 hours weekly
• Working Setup: Hybrid, mostly work at home
