The role focuses on delivering complex IT initiatives and digital transformations for clients and internal systems. You will oversee end-to-end delivery, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure governance, security and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional IT project management experience.
• Proven Apple Pay implementation and integration experience.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid methods.
• PM certification such as PMP/PRINCE2 is highly desirable.
• Experience in financial services, fintech or payments preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PM tools like MS Project, Jira or Asana.
• Understanding of IT security, compliance and data protection for payments.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with specialised Apple Pay experience to join DAPL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT SERVICES PHILIPPINES INC. This is a contract position based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila. You will be responsible for overseeing and delivering critical IT projects with a focus on payment systems integration and digital transformation initiatives. This role is integral to our ability to successfully implement complex technology solutions and drive innovation across our portfolio of clients and internal systems.

What you'll be doing

• Leading end-to-end project delivery for IT initiatives, with particular emphasis on Apple Pay integration and payment systems implementation
• Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocation strategies to ensure successful project completion
• Managing stakeholder communication and expectations throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, quality assurance specialists and infrastructure teams
• Identifying, assessing and mitigating project risks whilst implementing contingency plans as needed
• Monitoring project progress against established key performance indicators and reporting on status, issues and deliverables to senior management
• Ensuring compliance with IT governance frameworks, security protocols and regulatory requirements relevant to payment systems
• Facilitating testing and user acceptance procedures to ensure solutions meet business requirements
• Managing project documentation, including requirements, specifications, test cases and post-implementation reviews
• Providing technical guidance and problem-solving support to resolve project impediments and blockers

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT project management, with demonstrated success delivering complex technology projects
• Proven expertise in Apple Pay implementation and integration, or equivalent payment systems experience
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or hybrid approaches
• Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2 or equivalent is highly desirable
• Experience managing projects within the financial services, fintech or payments industry
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana or similar platforms
• Understanding of IT security, compliance and data protection requirements in payment systems
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
