Job summary

WHR Global Consulting in Manila seeks an IT Project Management Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for IT projects, initiating, planning, coordinating and monitoring initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role includes managing new initiatives and ongoing projects, providing regular status updates to stakeholders, maintaining a centralized portfolio dashboard, and ensuring governance, risk management, and timely delivery across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Act as the central liaison between IT and business units for all new project requests.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions with internal teams and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, schedules, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Oversee vendor deliverables and manage third-party relationships where applicable.
• Track project progress against defined goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Provide regular updates and status reports to IT management and business stakeholders.
• Escalate issues, risks, and dependencies in a timely manner.
• Maintain a centralized list and dashboard of all IT-related projects, including new, ongoing, and completed initiatives.
• Ensure alignment of IT projects with organizational strategy and priorities.
• Support IT leadership in resource planning and prioritization across the project portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with internal project management standards, methodologies, and governance processes.
• Document project requirements, decisions, lessons learned, and closure reports.

About the role:
