Job summary

Dexcom is seeking an IT procurement specialist in the Philippines to manage end-to-end purchasing for IT infrastructure hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, and professional services. Meet the team:

Dexcom's IT Infrastructure organization provides the foundational technology and services that support our global business. We partner closely with Finance, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and technology vendors to ensure infrastructure purchases and contracts are properly evaluated, approved, ordered, invoiced, tracked, and renewed.

Where you come in:
  • Coordinate the end-to-end purchasing process for IT Infrastructure hardware, software, Software as a Service solutions, cloud services, telecommunications, professional services, maintenance, and support agreements, including Coupa requisitions, purchase orders, new supplier requests, Legal Matters, contract requests, invoices, and related approvals.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between IT Infrastructure, Finance, Legal, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and technology vendors, developing strong vendor relationships, resolving commercial and operational issues, and organizing periodic vendor business reviews when appropriate.
  • Coordinate competitive bidding activities by obtaining comparable proposals from multiple vendors, documenting requirements, reviewing pricing and commercial terms, and helping stakeholders evaluate vendor responses.
  • Support contract negotiations for infrastructure products and services, including pricing, payment terms, service periods, renewal protections, license quantities, and other commercial considerations.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT Infrastructure contracts, suppliers, purchase orders, software licenses, renewal dates, notice periods, quantities, costs, and business owners.
  • Manage the Infrastructure renewal calendar: provide advance notifications, validate licensing and service requirements, obtain competitive quotations, and initiate renewal activities.
  • Support major software and cloud renewals, including the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement, by coordinating license requirements, current usage, pricing proposals, true‑up information, purchasing documentation, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Track purchase orders, invoices, accruals, and purchasing commitments through resolution of discrepancies, and provide purchasing, contract, renewal, and committed‑spend information to the Infrastructure Planner and IT Infrastructure leaders for budgets, forecasts, accruals, and purchasing decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs, consolidate suppliers, optimize software licensing, strengthen purchasing controls, and improve the stakeholder purchasing experience.
What makes you successful:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in IT purchasing, procurement operations, vendor management, contract administration, software licensing, or financial operations, including coordinating proposals, resolving vendor issues, tracking commitments, and maintaining productive supplier partnerships.
  • Experience coordinating competitive bids or requests for proposals, assisting stakeholders with commercial evaluation, and supporting contract negotiations covering pricing, licensing, renewal, and payment terms.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft licensing programs and agreements, including Enterprise Agreement, MPSA, CSP, and SPLA, as well as license compliance and true‑up requirements. Experience supporting Microsoft Enterprise Agreement renewals or other large enterprise software agreements is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise purchasing and financial platforms such as Coupa, Oracle, Basware, or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to organize, reconcile, analyze, and report purchasing, licensing, and financial information accurately.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple purchases, vendors, contracts, and renewal deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams, suppliers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Willing to work in a US Pacific Time schedule.
Other skills and In-Depth Knowledge:
  • Understanding of the complete purchasing lifecycle, including quotations, competitive bidding, requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, invoices, accruals, renewals, and PO closure.
  • Familiarity with IT Infrastructure technologies and services, including enterprise hardware, software licensing, telecommunications, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, managed services, maintenance, and professional services.
  • Understanding of Software as a Service subscription models and consumption-based cloud services, including license metrics, usage commitments, renewals, and the commercial differences between subscription and consumption agreements.
  • Understanding of common technology agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, subscription, cloud service, and support agreements, together with contract management skills covering terms, expiration dates, notice periods, renewal requirements, ownership, pricing, and supporting documentation.
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to review quotations and proposals for completeness, pricing accuracy, licensing quantities, service periods, assumptions, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Ability to protect confidential supplier, pricing, contractual, licensing, and financial information, with a proactive, service-oriented approach, strong follow‑through, and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
