Job summary

DBOS is seeking an IT Intern to support our IT team with hands-on tasks across hardware, software, and network systems in the Philippines. You will assist in maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, and routine updates for company devices and services.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, teamwork, and proactive learning as you gain exposure to cybersecurity measures, tech research, and collaboration in meetings. Relevant coursework preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior IT support experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the IT team in maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network systems
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on company devices and systems
• Provide technical support to employees and clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software for employees
• Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technologies to improve company operations
• Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity measures to ensure the safety and security of company data
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for process improvements
• Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the IT industry
• Complete any other tasks or projects assigned by the IT team
