The IT Infrastructure Lead Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions across the organization. This role serves as the technical authority for infrastructure architecture, guiding engineering teams and aligning technology strategies with business objectives. The Lead Architect ensures that infrastructure designs support current and future needs, integrating cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE?

• Develop and maintain enterprise infrastructure architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Design solutions for data centers, cloud platforms, networks, storage, and virtualization.
• Ensure infrastructure designs are scalable, secure, and aligned with business continuity requirements.

Technology Leadership:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for infrastructure technologies and trends.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Provide architectural oversight for major infrastructure projects and initiatives.
• Work closely with cybersecurity, application, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Participate in governance boards to ensure architectural compliance and alignment.
• Define and enforce infrastructure design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Documentation & Standards:

• Create and maintain detailed architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
• Establish and promote infrastructure standards across engineering and operations teams.
• Mentor infrastructure engineers and architects, fostering technical growth and innovation.
• Lead design reviews and provide guidance on complex technical decisions.
