Work Setup:Hybrid (3x / week onsite)| Makati

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8am-5pm)

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of system, network, and help desk engineers.
• Foster a culture of proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service. Manage team workload, prioritize tasks, and conduct performance reviews.

2. Infrastructure Strategy & Management:

• Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for MHSI IT infrastructure, including on-premises, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid environments.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all server, network, storage, and data center infrastructure. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services for cost-efficiency and performance.

3. Operations & Service Delivery:

• Ensure the high availability and reliability of all critical business systems and network services.
• Oversee the IT Service Desk function, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests based on SLAs. Manage IT operations based on ITIL frameworks, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.

4. Security & Compliance:

• Partner with the CISO/Cybersecurity team to implement and maintain robust security controls, including firewalls, patch management, and access controls. Ensure infrastructure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR).
• Own and test the Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans for all critical infrastructure.

5. Budget & Vendor Management:

• Develop and manage the infrastructure and operations budget, including forecasting and cost-control.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors, managed service providers, and contractors.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role.
• Proven hands‑on experience with:
• Windows/Linux Server environments and Active Directory/Azure AD.
• Networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, SD‑WAN) and hardware (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto).
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup/recovery solutions.

Preferred

• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, CCNA, VCP).
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, Terraform).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Excellent project management, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills.
