Job summary

Allianz PNB Life Insurance, Inc. is seeking an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager to ensure IT Operations align with internal and external governance standards, including COBIT.

You will translate auditor findings and advisories into clear actions for Compliance stakeholders. You will identify and assess risks per the Allianz Risk Management Framework and support business owners in risk management, regulatory compliance, and control assurance, including rollout of new laws such as DORA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business or related field.
• 7–12 years in IT with minimum 5 years in project and resource management.
• Solid quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Understanding of COBIT Framework.
• Certifications in Risk, such as CISA or equivalent.
• Experience writing policies, standards and guidance documents.
• Experience with change management and communicating programs to senior leadership.
• Strong teamwork, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Business Owners in IT Governance activities including risk management and compliance rollout (e.g., evolving laws).
• Identify information risks related to IT controls and report status to CIO/COO and Group functions.
• Facilitate compliance activities from internal and external assessors.

IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager

Purpose of the Role

As an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager, you need to ensure that IT Operations are in line with internal and external industry governance standards. You will be an expert in Allianz Functional Rules, Regulations, Standards and Policies, including their basis such as COBIT as adopted by Allianz. You will be the communicator of auditor findings, remediations and advisories allowing understanding among Compliance stakeholders. You will identify and assess risks as per the Allianz Risk Management Framework.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Support Business Owners in IT Governance related activities such as Risk Management, relevant internal and external regulations, control assurance and in rolling out evolving laws and statute (ie DORA)
• Identify information risks relevant to IT Controls, monitor them and report status to CIO, COO and Group functions.
• Facilitate compliance activities from internal and external assessors.

Requirements for the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field
• 7-12 years, experience in related IT domain with minimum 5 years project and resource management experience
• Solid background on quantitative, analytical and organizational skills.
• Understanding of COBIT Framework
• Relevant Certifications in Risk, CISA, or equivalent training.
• Experience writing policies, standards and guidance documents.
• Experience with change management, including communicating new programs or initiatives to senior leadership.
• Team oriented, with exceptional organizational, project management, written and verbal communication skills.
