The IT Governance Manager establishes, maintains, and continuously improves the enterprise IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework. Reporting to the Technology Strategy and R&D Head, this role ensures technology investments align with overall business objectives, risks are mitigated, and IT operations comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. This position leads governance across IT strategy, project portfolio management, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, vendor management, and data/AI governance.
IT Governance Framework & Strategy: Develop, implement, and continuously refine the enterprise IT Governance Framework (aligned with COBIT, ISO 27001, and ITIL) to ensure technology initiatives align with enterprise strategy.
Investment & Portfolio Governance: Evaluate business cases, monitor budget utilization, track benefit realization, and prioritize digital transformation projects across the IT portfolio.
Risk, Compliance & Audit Coordination: Oversee IT policies and risk/compliance programs, coordinate internal and external audits, and track remediation plans to closure within agreed SLAs.
Data & AI Governance: Define enterprise data ownership, stewardship, and quality standards while establishing policies for responsible AI adoption, security, and data privacy.
Standards Enforcement & Reporting: Oversee enterprise architecture standards, vendor SLA compliance, and present governance maturity metrics and risk profiles to executive leadership.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Experience: 5+ years of dedicated experience in IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, Risk Management, or PMO within a medium-to-large enterprise (8–12 years overall IT experience preferred).
Industry Background: Digital transformation experience required; exposure to FMCG or manufacturing environments is a distinct advantage.
Framework Mastery: In-depth knowledge of COBIT, ITIL 4, ISO 27001, NIST, TOGAF, and cloud governance principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
