• Integrate Philosophy of Education and school goals into daily lessons.
• Create atmosphere where students share life insights grounded in reality.
• Use student-centered instructional techniques in class.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
• Attend classes regularly and punctually.
• Evaluate students’ performance with fairness and humanity.
• Prepare and submit curriculum materials (syllabi, scope & sequences, course outlines, lesson plans, tests, grades).
• Coordinate with coordinator/program chair and grade-level teachers.
• Teach effectively and efficiently.
• Construct well-organized syllabi reflecting new inputs in the field.
• Exhibit professional conduct at all times.
• Comply with other academic requirements as determined by the Subject Area Coordinator/Department Head.

Job description

1. Ensures that the Philosophy of Education, the Vision, Mission and Goals of the School are effectively integrated into the daily classroom lessons.

2. Creates an atmosphere of acceptance so that students are encouraged to share insights about life and significant experiences on learning rooted in reality.

3. Utilizes a variety of student- centered instructional techniques in class.

4. Maintains effective classroom management and discipline.

5. Attends classes regularly and punctually.

6. Evaluates students’ performance based on the department’s grading system with justice complemented by humaneness.

7. Prepares and submits at the start or end of school year/semester the necessary curriculum materials for their area such as: Syllabi, Scope and Sequences, Course Outlines, Lesson plans, Evaluation materials/tests Grades and marks

8. Coordinates with his/her coordinator/program chairperson and the teachers of his/her grade level.

9. Teaches effectively and efficiently

10. Constructs well organized course syllabi reflective of new inputs in the field

11. Exhibits professional conduct at all times

12. Complies with other academic requirements as may be determined by the Subject Area Coordinator/Department Head.
