East West Banking Corporation (EastWest) is seeking an IT Audit Section Head to lead the Internal Audit IT team in Makati. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring the annual audit plan aligned with risk assessments and international standards.

You will oversee audit activities, review reports, and ensure staff qualifications while driving continuous improvement and benchmarking within the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and CPA/CIA/CISA/CFE certification.
• Minimum five years' internal audit or bank operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of auditing procedures, risk management, governance, controls, and forensic investigation.

Responsibilities

• Direct audit teams to implement the annual Department Audit Plan.
• Assist the Department Head in developing the department's strategic direction and aligning it with the overall audit strategy.
• Review audit working papers and draft materials for Audit Committee.
• Evaluate manpower and skills against the audit plan and adjust engagement scope/resources.
• Monitor progress, report on resources, and escalate high/medium risk issues and referrals.
• Participate in updating Audit Procedures and Guidelines and benchmarking with peers.
