Job summary

A mining company in Surigao del Norte is looking for a Mining Engineer to manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO standards. The ideal candidate should be a licensed Mining Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the mining industry and strong analytical and communication skills. The role involves guiding proper IMS application, ensuring audits are conducted, and reporting to Site Management.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the IMS is established, implemented, and maintained and continually improve its effectiveness in accordance with IMS Standards (ISO 45001 OHSMS, ISO 14001 EMS and ISO 9001 QMS)
• Ensures that the processes needed for the IMS is determined and its application throughout the organization
• Guide the organization on the proper application of the IMS and ensure uniformity of understanding and consistency of application.
• Ensures all audit checks are properly carried out to monitor and measure the status of the IMS periodically.
• Submit IMS reports and analysis to Site Management as necessary.
• Provides recommendations on identified process gaps and serves corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensures implementation and maintenance of IMS (9001, 45001,14001) programs and activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mining Engineer
• With extensive ISO training and certifications
• Has at least 3 to 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with oral and written communication proficiency.
• Willing to work in Cawilan, Tubod, Surigao del Norte.
