Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Irrigation Engineer / Designer II to join our Placemaking team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to landscape, public realm, urban development, and infrastructure projects across global markets.

You will plan, design and deliver irrigation systems, work closely with Landscape Architecture and multidisciplinary teams to develop sustainable, fully coordinated design solutions, and ensure quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional irrigation design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automatic irrigation systems for landscape projects.
• Prepare irrigation layouts, plans, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
• Develop irrigation central control systems and field networks, wiring and control layouts.
• Perform hydraulic analyses and irrigation demand calculations.
• Prepare design criteria and technical documentation.
• Produce standard irrigation details and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support QA/QC processes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
