Applaudo is seeking an experienced iOS Developer to build polished, reliable, and scalable mobile experiences. You will shape architecture, performance, and maintainable code, collaborating closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to turn requirements into high-quality user experiences.

You bring an engineering mindset, strong Swift/SwiftUI/Combine skills, a solid grasp of MVVM and SOLID, and a passion for refining code through refactoring, reviews, and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine.
• Solid understanding of MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles and mobile design patterns.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable and high-performing native iOS apps.
• Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with US-based stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain native iOS applications following Apple Human Interface Guidelines and industry best practices.
• Design and implement scalable, clean, and maintainable mobile architectures aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with Developers, Designers, and Product Managers to deliver high-value features efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, refactoring, and documentation to ensure high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, stability, and scalability issues for optimal user experiences.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and align on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
• Promote engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience as an iOS Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and mobile architectures such as MVVM, Clean Architecture, and Coordinators.
• Experience refactoring code to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Experience integrating third-party frameworks in a decoupled and maintainable way.
• Knowledge of mobile security best practices and related tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for mobile applications is highly desirable.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to suggest improvements, share knowledge, and contribute to technical discussions.
• Advanced English proficiency to collaborate directly with US-based stakeholders.
